Banksy has landed in Amsterdam. Can’t wait to see the exposition. But in the meanwhile this street visual is already a good apattizer.
What a nice surprise this weekend, this small cabine landed in our neighbourhood. As an extra stay, we rent a small plot in an area near to the dunes and sea. The diversity of housing is big, from small tents, old caravans to architectural delights. So yes, this one fits perfectly.
These cups I created more then 14 years ago. All slightly different shaped in fragile porcelain. Their little misfits makes them almost human. When I see them back, it always throws a little smile on my face.
When we bought our current home it came with a white kitchen. Although I love white, it’s clean, fresh and makes everything looks bigger than it actual is, it’s also kind of clinical. So my mind is directing to a kind of black feel…… ( will be continued)

Today it was the Amsterdam Architecture Day. Theme of this year is self-build. We visited an area in Amsterdam North which is in the middle of a metamorphosis from industry to city housing including self-build plots. Several houses opened their doors. I was specially caught by this beautiful interior of a stacked family house.
Twice a year I’m lucky enough, to visit studio Zero in Paris. It’s the most homely photo studio I know. Beside the subtle lunches ( great cook ) I adore the ‘ je ne sais quoi ‘ feel which is in every corner of the building.
